Description
This 45-hour course is course is designed to introduce students to PV systems. Students will learn the key elements of a site survey and preplanning for the installation of a PV system. This course will introduce the various system components and configurations including cells, modules, arrays, batteries, charge controllers, inverters and more. Learning to properly size the system for customer demand is central to the course. When students have completed this course, they will have a general knowledge of how the mechanical and electrical connections of systems work as well as how to integrate into the main power grid.
Prerequisites: Basic Electricity I, Basic Electricity II
