Description
This 45-hour video course is approved by the State of Maine and is designed to prepare a student for the variety of math equations that an electrician will face on a routine basis. Basic multiplication, division, algebra, trigonometry, and geometry are applied in applications that an electrician would see in real life.
Prerequisites*: Basic Electricity I, National Electrical Code
*A student taking this course without at least these prerequisites will struggle to understand the application of the math. While the math can be executed, the student will not understand what the purpose is and may struggle through the basic concepts laid out in the course.
Additional Books/Materials Required:
- Student must provide his or her own current version of the National Electrical Code Book.
- Scientific Calculator (capable of SIN, COS, TAN functions)
